Job Description
Sound system and light oparation
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sound Operator to manage and control audio equipment for [live events / film / broadcast / studio recording]. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sound systems, audio mixing, microphones, and acoustic setups to ensure high-quality audio production.
- Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate audio equipment including mixers, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and recorders.
- Conduct sound checks before events or recordings to ensure optimal audio levels and clarity.
- Monitor and adjust sound levels during live performances, recordings, or broadcasts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues in real-time.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and performers to achieve the desired sound output.
- Maintain, test, and store audio equipment properly to ensure reliability.
- Record, edit, and mix audio tracks using software (e.g., Pro Tools, Audacity, Adobe Audition).
- Ensure sound equipment is compliant with health and safety standards.
- Keep logs of equipment usage and maintenance schedules.
