Job Description

🔹 Job Responsibilities:


Source and purchase pulses, grains, oilseeds, spices, and other agricultural commodities.

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, traders, farmers, and commission agents.

Negotiate purchase prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Monitor market trends and commodity prices.

Coordinate with the sales, logistics, and warehouse teams.

Maintain purchase records and supplier databases.

Identify and evaluate new suppliers.


🔹 Requirements:


2–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in agro commodities.

Good knowledge of agricultural commodities and market trends.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Good analytical and vendor management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and make quick purchasing decisions.
