Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our company’s financial records, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring records are accurate and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting.

Coordinate and complete annual audits.

Prepare tax returns and ensure timely payment of taxes.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.

Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.

Proven work experience as an accountant or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).

Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial databases.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position.

Office-based or hybrid (depending on company policy).

May require occasional overtime during month-end or year-end closing.
