Job Description

The main duties and responsibilities of a Counter Sales Representative include:

  • Greet and interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Understand and determine the customers’ needs and suggest appropriate products or services
  • Provide information on product features, pricing, and after-sales services
  • Answer customer queries regarding products or services
  • Process transactions, handle cash, and maintain accurate records
  • Arrange merchandise on counters or shelves in an attractive manner
  • Conduct stock inventory and ensure that the counter is well-stocked at all times
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and refer complex issues to the supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the counter and store
