Job Description

  • Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and required standards.
  • Ensure food is fresh, properly stored, and handled safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment.
  • Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, sauces, and spices.
  • Monitor food quality, taste, portion size, and presentation.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Manage kitchen supplies and inform the supervisor when stock is low.
  • Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
  • Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations.

Work effectively with other kitchen staff during busy periods.
