TECHNICAL HEAD

Job Purpose

To lead the Technical and Project Engineering function, ensuring successful project execution, technical compliance, quality, timely delivery, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Technical and Project Engineering team.
• Review project requirements, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents.
• Oversee project planning, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Review and approve technical designs, drawings, calculations, and material specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs, and internal teams.
• Resolve technical issues and ensure timely closure of site and client observations.
• Support Sales & Marketing with technical proposals, tenders, BOQs, presentations, and pre-sales activities.
• Optimize manpower, materials, equipment, and technical resources.
• Maintain project documentation, technical reports, testing records, and handover documents.
• Identify technical risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Mentor technical personnel and monitor team performance.

• Project Delivery: Completion of projects within agreed timelines and specifications.
• Technical Quality: Reduction in errors, rework, defects, and technical complaints.
• Testing & Commissioning: Timely and successful system commissioning.
• Technical Compliance: Compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Client Satisfaction: Timely resolution of technical issues and observations.
• Team Productivity: Achievement of technical team targets and effective resource utilization.
• Pre-Sales Support: Timely submission of technical proposals, BOQs, and compliance documents.
• Cost Optimization: Reduction of project costs through effective technical planning and value engineering.
• Safety & Quality: Minimum technical and safety non-compliance.
• Documentation: Timely completion of technical and project documentation.
• Issue Resolution: Effective and timely closure of technical and site issues.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably with technical leadership exposure.
• Experience in Fire Alarm, CCTV, Security Systems, Networking, Automation, or related projects is preferred.
• Strong experience in project execution, installation, testing, commissioning, client coordination, and team management.
