Total Station Surveyor

Flybi Technologies is a Bengaluru drone and land survey company (ISO 9001 & ISO 27001 certified). We measure raw-material stockpiles for steel plants, power stations, mines and ports across India.

Urgent — immediate joining. 1 opening: Senior Total Station Surveyor / Site Lead for stockpile quantity surveys at the integrated steel plant at Dolvi (Pen), Raigad, Maharashtra. Full-time, on-site.

Salary: ₹40,000–55,000 per month (based on experience). Accommodation provided by Flybi. PF, overtime at double rate, PPE provided. Paid by bank transfer by the 7th.

What you will do

• Lead stockpile quantity / physical stock verification surveys with a total station — coal, coke, iron ore, pellets, sinter, fluxes — in raw-material yards, jetty and railway sidings.
• Set up from the plant's control points; pick toe, crest and break-lines so volumes are right.
• Take bulk-density samples (box method) for every stockpile on every survey.
• Be the single point of contact for the plant's raw-material (RMHS) team: plan each survey day, hold the Permit to Work, check data before it leaves site.
• Download raw instrument data the same day and send it to our Bengaluru GIS team; send a short end-of-day report.

Schedule: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, six days a week. Surveys three times a month plus mid-week surveys. 2–3 days a month at a port site in Ratnagiri — travel, stay and food paid by Flybi.

Requirements

• 5+ years operating a total station yourself, with proven stockpile volume / quantity survey experience (steel plant, mine, port, cement or power plant preferred).
• ITI (Surveyor), Diploma Civil, or 12th pass with a survey course.
• Instruments: Leica, Trimble, Sokkia, Topcon or similar; can download and check data.
• Comfortable dealing with plant officers; experience working inside an operating steel plant is a strong plus.
• Hindi or Marathi spoken; can read the instrument's English menus.
• Available to join immediately. Age 18–58, medically fit, clean police verification. Aadhaar, PAN, bank account.
