💰 Maximum CTC: Up to ₹30,000 per month

🎯 Job PurposeWe are looking for experienced and result-oriented Field Officers (FOS) to manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing Google Pay (GPay) merchants.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong merchant relationships, increasing transaction volumes, reactivating inactive merchants, resolving merchant issues and driving adoption of Value-Added Services (VAS), including Soundpod and Goldie.

The role requires strong field execution, merchant relationship management and ownership of overall merchant portfolio performance.

🔑 Key Responsibilities1. Merchant Relationship Management

• Manage an assigned portfolio of approximately 200–300 Merchant IDs (MIDs).
• Conduct regular field visits and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants.
• Understand merchant requirements, business challenges and payment-related concerns.
• Plan and execute merchant visits based on priority lists and NetOne data.

2. Merchant Activation & Transaction Growth

• Monitor merchant activity and TPV (Total Payment Value).
• Identify and reactivate inactive and low-performing merchants.
• Focus on D-cohort and Red merchants to improve their performance.
• Increase transaction volume, active merchant rate and merchant retention.
• Drive improvement in merchant health cohorts (A/B/C/D).

3. Merchant Support & Issue Resolution

• Resolve merchant issues related to QR payments, payment acceptance, devices and operational challenges.
• Coordinate with internal support teams for unresolved issues.
• Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain proper issue-resolution records.

4. VAS Sales & Product Adoption

• Identify potential merchants for Soundpod and Goldie.
• Explain product features and benefits to merchants.
• Generate sales opportunities and drive product adoption.
• Follow up with merchants and maintain conversion records.

5. Field Operations & Reporting

• Complete planned merchant visits and maintain daily field productivity.
• Update all merchant interactions, observations and visit outcomes in NetOne.
• Maintain accurate records of issues, opportunities, next actions and revisit dates.
• Follow the defined reporting process and business operating guidelines.

• Merchant coverage and unique merchant visits.
• Field productivity and merchant engagement.
• Improvement in TPV and transaction activity.
• Reduction in inactive merchants.
• Improvement in merchant health cohorts.
• Merchant issue resolution and follow-up.
• Soundpod and Goldie sales/adoption.
• Timely and accurate NetOne reporting.

Note: Specific monthly targets and incentive structures will be communicated by the business team.

• ⭐ Candidate Profile & EligibilityEducation: Minimum 12th Pass; Graduate preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant field sales or merchant-facing experience.
• Age: Preferably 21–35 years.
• Communication: Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Field Readiness: Comfortable with daily market visits and extensive field travel.
• Technical Skills: Basic smartphone and application handling.
• Language: Local language proficiency and basic Hindi; English will be an advantage.
• Location: Candidates based in or familiar with Patna or Chennai markets preferred.

🚨 IMPORTANT – MANDATORY REQUIREMENTCandidates MUST have prior working experience with PHONEPE.

• Previous employment or field experience with PhonePe is mandatory.
• Candidates who have worked in PhonePe merchant acquisition, merchant relationship management, QR payments, Soundbox or merchant operations will be highly preferred.
• Candidates without PhonePe company experience will NOT be considered for this requirement.
