Travel Agent / Consultant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Tour Agent / Travel Consultant to assist customers with planning and booking domestic trips. The candidate will understand client requirements, recommend suitable travel packages, arrange transportation and accommodation, coordinate with travel partners, and provide excellent customer service throughout the travel process.

• Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand customers’ travel requirements, preferences, budget, and itinerary needs.
• Recommend suitable domestic tour packages, destinations, hotels, flights, and activities.
• Prepare customized travel itineraries and quotations for customers.
• Handle flight, hotel, transport, sightseeing, and tour package bookings.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, transport providers, tour operators, and other travel vendors.
• Follow up with customers regarding quotations, bookings, payments, and travel documentation.
• Assist customers with travel-related documentation and requirements where applicable.
• Provide accurate information regarding fares, schedules, cancellation policies, travel packages, and terms & conditions.
• Maintain regular communication with customers before, during, and after their trips.
• Resolve customer queries, booking changes, cancellations, and travel-related issues promptly.
• Maintain customer records, booking details, invoices, and payment information accurately.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business, referrals, and additional travel services.
• Stay updated on new destinations, travel packages, airline offers, hotel deals, and tourism trends.
• Required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of domestic travel destinations.
• Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.
• Good negotiation and convincing skills.
• Ability to prepare quotations and customized itineraries.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, email,social networking site and internet applications.
• Good follow-up and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Diploma/Certificate in Travel & Tourism is an advantage.
• Previous experience in travel agency, tour operations, airline, hotel, or customer service will be preferred.

Experience 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Experienced with good communication skills and a strong interest in travel may be considered.

The ideal candidate should be confident, presentable, target-oriented, customer-friendly, and passionate . The person should be capable of converting customer enquiries into bookings while maintaining professional relationships with clients and travel partners.
