Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and Vendor Management
  • Find and evaluate new suppliers.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and contract terms.
  • Build long-term relationships with reliable vendors.
  • Purchasing Operations
  • Create and process purchase orders (POs).
  • Compare quotes from different sellers to save money.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand what supplies are needed.
  • Delivery and Logistics
  • Track shipments to make sure items arrive on time.
  • Solve problems with late deliveries or damaged goods.
  • Work with the warehouse and finance teams to check received items and clear bills.
  • Inventory and Record Keeping
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or extra inventory.
  • Keep accurate records of all purchases, invoices, and contracts.
  • Prepare reports on spending and market trends.
