BIM Modeler

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Architectural BIM Modeler with hands-on experience in interior fit-out and commercial interior projects for the Middle East market. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate architectural and interior BIM models, producing coordinated construction drawings, and supporting project delivery in accordance with project specifications, design intent, and BIM standards.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain architectural BIM models in Autodesk Revit for interior fit-out projects, including commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, restaurants and other commercial developments.
2. Model architectural and interior elements such as partitions, walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, windows, joinery, millwork, wall panelling and other interior components.
3. Prepare detailed architectural and interior fit-out drawings, including:

• General arrangement plans and layouts
• Partition setting-out plans
• Reflected ceiling plans (RCPs)
• Flooring and finish layout plans
• Door schedules and room finish schedules
• Internal elevations and sections
• Joinery and millwork details
• Enlarged plans and construction details

1. Develop BIM models and drawings to the required Level of Development (LOD), as specified by the project.
2. Coordinate architectural and interior models with MEP and structural disciplines to identify and resolve clashes and design discrepancies.
3. Incorporate design revisions, consultant comments, RFIs and site instructions into the BIM model and drawing packages.
4. Work with architectural drawings, interior design layouts, material schedules, specifications and other project documents.
5. Ensure model accuracy, drawing quality, dimensional consistency and compliance with project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
6. Follow project naming conventions, worksets, shared coordinates, model organisation and drawing documentation standards.
7. Coordinate with BIM Coordinators, Architects, Interior Designers and project teams to meet project milestones and submission deadlines.

• Technical Skills and QualificationsDiploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in architectural BIM modelling and interior fit-out projects.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Practical experience in developing detailed interior fit-out models and construction documentation.
• Good understanding of architectural construction details, interior finishes, joinery and millwork.
• Experience in coordinating models with MEP services and other disciplines.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows, LOD requirements, model coordination and drawing production.
• Ability to interpret architectural and interior design drawings, specifications and material schedules.
• Familiarity with Navisworks for model review and clash coordination is preferred.
• Experience with Middle East projects, particularly in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman or Bahrain, will be an advantage.

Desired Candidate ProfileThe candidate should be detail-oriented, technically sound and capable of working independently on Revit modelling and drawing production. The candidate must be able to understand design intent, translate it into coordinated BIM models and deliver accurate construction documentation within agreed timelines.
