Job Description
- Responsibilities – Health Insurance Sales ProfileGenerate leads through calling, referrals, online leads, and other sources.
- Contact prospective customers and understand their health insurance requirements.
- Explain health insurance plans, benefits, coverage, exclusions, waiting periods, and premiums.
- Recommend suitable policies based on customer needs and budget.
- Handle customer queries and resolve doubts related to policies.
- Conduct outbound and follow-up calls with prospective customers.
- Convert qualified leads into customers and achieve monthly sales targets.
- Handle customer objections and negotiate effectively to close sales.
- Prepare and share quotations and policy details with customers.
- Collect and verify required customer information and KYC documents.
- Coordinate with the backend/operations team for proposal submission and policy issuance.
- Assist customers with policy renewals and portability requirements.
- Maintain regular follow-ups until the policy is successfully issued.
- Update customer and lead information in CRM/Excel.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, follow-ups, and sales.
- Explain premium payment procedures and assist customers with payment-related queries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling suitable insurance products.
- Coordinate with insurers for customer-related queries and policy requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and provide updates to the reporting manager.
- Follow company sales processes, compliance guidelines, and quality standards.
- Maintain professional communication with customers throughout the sales process.
- Work towards customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
