Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical and chemical testing of spices, blended spices, nuts, dry fruits and other food products as per defined specifications.
- Perform testing for parameters such as moisture, ash, acidity, adulteration, foreign matter, colour and other product-specific parameters.
- Conduct sampling, analysis and maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports and COAs.
- Monitor incoming raw materials, in-process materials and finished products for quality compliance.
- Identify quality deviations and coordinate with QC, Production, Procurement and other relevant teams for corrective action.
- Ensure proper handling, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety, quality and laboratory procedures.
- Maintain laboratory hygiene, documentation and testing standards as per company requirements.
