Interior Designer

Role Objective to manage the customer journey from site visit and requirement understanding to design, quotation and booking, while ensuring the proposed solution is practical, aesthetically appealing and commercially viable.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits, take measurements and understand customer requirements, budget and preferences.
• Prepare 2D layouts, bathroom designs and elevations as required.
• Recommend suitable models of sanitaryware, CP fittings, tiles, vanity, glass and allied products.
• Prepare/coordinate accurate BOQs and quotations and explain inclusions, exclusions and pricing to customers.
• Present designs and proposals professionally and handle customer queries and objections.
• Follow up with customers and achieve assigned visit, booking and conversion targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM updates and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Technical and Execution teams for product/design clarifications.
• Ensure a complete and accurate handover of booked projects to the operations team.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and continuously improve design and sales skills.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of interior/bathroom design and space planning.
• Ability to read and prepare drawings; AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
• Basic understanding of plumbing and bathroom execution.
• Strong product knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Customer-centric approach with strong follow-up discipline.
• Ownership, accountability, attention to detail and team coordination.

Qualification & Experience

Preferred: Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience: 1–3 years in interior design, bathroom/sanitaryware, home improvement or related sales. Freshers with relevant skills may also be considered.
