Accountant (Male)

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of all transactions. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting tasks, process payroll, prepare tax filings, and generate financial reports to support business growth and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Reconciliation & Ledger: Manage all accounting transactions, reconcile bank and credit card statements, and maintain the general ledger.

• Taxation: Compute taxes, prepare tax returns (e.g., GST, Income Tax), and ensure compliance with local and national regulations.

• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, process vendor payments, and follow up on client invoices.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist management in preparing budget forecasts and tracking departmental spending.

• Audit Support: Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents and assisting internal and external auditors during reviews. 

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., B.Com, M.Com). 

• Experience: 2 - 5 years of proven experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or Finance Specialist.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables). Hands-on experience with accounting software.

• Compliance: Thorough understanding of accounting principles and local tax regulations.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, high attention to numerical accuracy, and strict adherence to data confidentiality.
