Job Description
- Handle purchasing of marine spares, machinery parts, tools, safety equipment, and office supplies.
- Source vendors, compare quotations, negotiate prices, and place purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers for delivery, quality, invoices, and payments.
- Maintain vendor records and purchase documentation.
- Verify purchase invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
- Handle basic accounting, entries, expense records, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for payments and outstanding invoices.
- Maintain proper records of purchases, invoices, and stock.
- Coordinate with vessel/technical teams regarding their procurement requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement as per operational requirements.
- Have Basic Knowledge of Tally ERP 9.
