Job Description
Night Shift Only
The US Accounts Assistant will support day-to-day accounting operations for US clients, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll support, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, good communication skills, and familiarity with US accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain bookkeeping records in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare journal entries and month-end working papers
- Assist in payroll processing and payroll reconciliations
- Maintain and organize financial documents and client records
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Coordinate with senior accountants and US clients for accounting queries
- Assist with tax season workpapers and compliance documentation
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned tasks
