Role: Principal Officer – Research Analyst

About PlanMoney : PlanMoney, a brand of Econexx Wealth Pvt. Ltd., is building a professional investment research platform focused on delivering structured equity research and market insights to investors.

As part of our expansion, we are looking to appoint a qualified and experienced Principal Officer to lead and establish our Research Analyst function in accordance with the applicable SEBI regulatory framework.

• Key ResponsibilitiesTake overall responsibility for the company's Research Analyst function.
• Lead the development of the company's equity research and investment-research framework.
• Conduct and supervise research on stocks, sectors, industries and market trends.
• Prepare, review and approve research reports, investment views and recommendations.
• Establish appropriate research methodologies, processes and documentation.
• Ensure that research and recommendations are issued in accordance with applicable SEBI regulations and guidelines.
• Ensure appropriate risk disclosures, disclaimers and other regulatory disclosures accompany research communications.
• Oversee research-related communication through reports, digital platforms, email and other client-facing channels.
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation relating to research activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments applicable to the Research Analyst business and ensure necessary implementation.
• Coordinate with the Compliance Officer and management on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Establish appropriate processes for handling investor/client queries and grievances relating to research services.
• Work with the management team in developing research products and subscription offerings.
• Provide strategic inputs for scaling the company's research business while maintaining regulatory standards.

Mandatory Qualification & CertificationThe candidate must:

• Meet the applicable SEBI eligibility requirements for appointment as Principal Officer of a non-individual Research Analyst.
• Hold a valid NISM-Series-XV: Research Analyst Certification Examination certification.
• Fulfil the applicable educational and professional qualification requirements prescribed under the prevailing SEBI framework.
• Maintain the required certification validity and comply with applicable continuing professional education requirements.
• ExperienceRelevant experience in equity research, securities research, investment analysis or financial markets.
• Experience with a SEBI-registered Research Analyst, brokerage, investment research firm, asset management company or similar financial-services organisation will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indian equity markets and securities.
• Experience in fundamental and/or technical research will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, report-writing and communication skills.
