Purchase Executive

1.    Category Planning & Purchase Management

• Manage the purchase of assigned product categories.
• Review stock levels and plan timely re-orders to avoid stock shortages.
• Monitor product movement and identify fast-moving and slow-moving products.
• Ensure the required quantity and quality of products are purchased.
• Update product and stock details in the company system.

2.    Product Research & Vendor Development

• Research new and trending products through market visits, exhibitions, IndiaMART, TradeIndia, social media and other sources.
• Identify new vendors and collect product information, samples and quotations.
• Compare products based on quality, pricing and market demand.
• Assist the Purchase Manager in introducing new products and vendors.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with assigned vendors.

3.    Vendor Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with vendors for order confirmation and dispatch schedules.
• Follow up with vendors until goods are dispatched.
• Verify received goods against purchase orders and invoices.
• Maintain purchase records and product information in the company software.
• Support vendor payment activities whenever required.

4.    Department Coordination & Improvement

• Coordinate with the Warehouse team for smooth receipt of purchased products.
• Share updates on pending orders and stock requirements with the Purchase Manager.
• Recommend new products based on customer demand and market trends.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency within assigned categories.
• Perform other purchase-related responsibilities assigned by the Purchase Manager.
