Cook / Chef

We are hiring experienced Chefs / Cooks for a restaurant in Mumbai.

We are looking for skilled cooks with experience in one or more of the following cuisines:

• North Indian / Punjabi Cuisine
• Chinese / Indian-Chinese Cuisine
• Tandoor
• All-Rounder Cook with experience across multiple sections
• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare food as per the restaurant's recipes and quality standards
• Maintain consistent taste, quality and presentation
• Handle food preparation and cooking during regular and peak hours
• Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients
• Follow portion control and minimise food wastage
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff for smooth operations
• Follow daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
• Required SkillsGood knowledge and practical experience in the relevant cuisine
• Experience working in a restaurant, hotel, dhaba or cloud kitchen
• Ability to work efficiently during busy hours
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety
• Should be disciplined, reliable and punctual
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Preferred CandidatesExperienced North Indian / Punjabi Cook
• Experienced Chinese Cook
• Experienced Tandoor Cook
• All-Rounder Cooks who can handle multiple sections will be preferred

Experience2–5+ years of relevant experience preferred

Candidates with strong practical skills and relevant experience will be considered even if their formal education is limited.

Immediate joiners preferred.

Salary will be competitive and based on experience, skill level and cuisine expertise.

A practical/trial cooking assessment may be conducted as part of the selection process.
