Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant with 3+ years of experience in the Real Estate industry to handle day-to-day accounting, statutory compliances and customer payment coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting and maintain books of accounts.
• Handle RERA-related accounts, including designated RERA bank accounts, transactions and required documentation/compliances.
• Prepare and file GST returns and assist with GST reconciliations.
• Handle Income Tax-related filings and compliances.
• Well versed with TDS calculations, deductions, payments and return filings.
• Carry out regular bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations.
• Maintain customer payment records and outstanding statements.
• Send timely payment reminders and follow-ups to customers for outstanding dues and scheduled instalments.
• Coordinate with CA, auditors and other consultants for statutory filings and audits.
• Maintain proper documentation, invoices, vouchers and accounting records.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a Real Estate company.
• Strong working knowledge of RERA accounting, GST, Income Tax and TDS.
• Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented and capable of independently handling accounting responsibilities.
