DevOps Operations Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage, scale, and secure our core cloud infrastructure and web application delivery pipelines. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations—automating deployments, maintaining high-availability systems, and ensuring modern fintech applications run smoothly with zero downtime.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and optimize automated integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for seamless web development and releases.

Containerization & Orchestration: Package web applications into lightweight Docker containers and manage high-availability clusters using Kubernetes.

Cloud Infrastructure & IaC: Provision, monitor, and scale infrastructure across cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) using Terraform or Ansible.

Website & App Deployment: Ensure reliable, zero-downtime releases for front-end and back-end web applications.

Monitoring & Security: Set up real-time monitoring, log analysis, and automated alerts (using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools) while enforcing strict cybersecurity practices (SSL, firewalls, IAM policies).

Collaboration: Partner closely with web developers and QA teams to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, system crashes, and environment issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core DevOps Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cluster management, pods, deployments) and Docker (containerization, Dockerfiles, compose).

Cloud Platform Mastery: Expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure).

CI/CD Automation: Proficiency with pipeline tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid understanding of Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Web Systems & Networking: Familiarity with web server configuration (Nginx, Apache), SSL management, DNS, load balancing, and REST APIs.

Monitoring Tools: Experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills)

Experience working in high-frequency, secure financial tech or trading platform environments.

Knowledge of DevSecOps practices (automated vulnerability scanning, secrets management via Vault).

Certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
