Senior Videographer & Video Editor

We are looking for a creative and skilled Senior Videographer & Video Editor to join our content creation team. The candidate will be responsible for planning, shooting, editing, and producing high-quality video content that reflects the brand identity of Ratnakripa.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of visual storytelling, product videography, cinematography, lighting, sound, motion graphics, and social media content creation. The person should be able to independently handle the complete process — from understanding the content requirement and setting up the shoot to editing and delivering the final video.

Experience in gemstone, jewellery, crystal, Rudraksha, spiritual or luxury product photography/videography will be highly preferred.

• Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute professional video shoots for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, advertisements, website, and other digital platforms.
• Handle DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting, tripods, gimbals, microphones, and other video equipment.
• Shoot high-quality product videos, reels, short-form videos, promotional videos, brand stories, educational content, and campaign videos.
• Develop visual storytelling that suits the brand's identity, products, audience, and marketing objectives.
• Create professional product shots highlighting the colour, texture, cut, clarity, finish, and natural characteristics of gemstones, crystals, Rudraksha, jewellery, and other products.
• Understand and apply appropriate lighting, composition, framing, camera movements, focus, depth of field, and angles for premium product presentation.
• Independently manage the complete production process from concept → shoot → edit → sound → colour correction → final delivery.
• Edit videos professionally using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Create engaging motion graphics, text animations, transitions, visual effects, subtitles, and branded elements.
• Perform sound editing, audio mixing, voice-over integration, music selection, and sound effects.
• Perform colour correction and colour grading to maintain a premium and consistent visual identity.
• Adapt videos into different formats and aspect ratios such as 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, and 16:9.
• Create scroll-stopping content suitable for Reels, Shorts, advertisements, product promotions, and social media campaigns.
• Work closely with the marketing and creative team to understand campaign objectives and content requirements.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, visual style, tone, and messaging.
• Organise and maintain raw footage, project files, audio files, graphics, and other production assets.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality content within deadlines.
• Stay updated with current video trends, editing styles, social media formats, cinematography techniques, and content trends.
• Requirements 3–7 years of professional experience in videography and video editing.
• Strong practical knowledge of DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting, audio equipment, and shooting techniques.
• Excellent knowledge of video editing and post-production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects or equivalent professional editing software.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, sound editing, colour correction, and colour grading.
• Strong understanding of cinematography, composition, lighting, camera movement, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to independently plan and execute product and brand shoots.
• Strong creative sense and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand a product visually and present it in an attractive and premium manner.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with marketing and creative teams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work within tight deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile: Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:

• Gemstone, jewellery, crystal, Rudraksha, spiritual or luxury product shoots
• E-commerce product videography
• Social media content creation
• Advertising and commercial video production
• Product photography and videography
• Motion graphics and animation
• Brand storytelling
• Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Experience creating premium product-focused visual content

Equipment Preference: Candidates who have their own professional camera/DSLR or Mirrorless camera, lenses, and laptop suitable for professional video editing will be given first preference.

Portfolio Requirement: A strong portfolio/showreel of previous videography and video editing work is mandatory.
