Transport Executive

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and coordinating daily transportation operations, ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient movement of employees, materials, or company vehicles. The role involves vehicle scheduling, driver coordination, route planning, documentation, and monitoring transport-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily transportation and vehicle operations.
• Plan and assign vehicles and drivers according to requirements.
• Prepare and manage daily transport schedules and routes.
• Coordinate with drivers and ensure timely pick-up and drop-off.
• Monitor vehicle movement and maintain trip records.
• Maintain records of vehicle documents, insurance, permits, and servicing.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance, repairs, fuel consumption, and expenses.
• Ensure drivers follow company safety rules and transportation policies.
• Handle transport-related complaints and resolve operational issues.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, drivers, and management
• Verify transport bills, trip sheets, fuel records, and related documents.
• Track vehicle availability and minimize unnecessary operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable transportation and safety regulations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transport reports.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, breakdowns, and route-related issues.
