Job Description

The senior telecaller will be responsible for driving sales and generating revenue by managing both inbound and outbound customer calls. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication and persuasive skills, a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, and the ability to mentor junior telecallers.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to promote products and services, acting as the final point of contact for complex issues.
- Handle inbound inquiries professionally, addressing customer issues and providing detailed product information.
- Maintain and update customer records and call logs in the CRM system.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales and performance targets.
- Provide accurate product and service information and suggest solutions based on customer needs.
- Train and mentor junior telecallers, sharing best practices and assisting with complex queries.
- Provide regular feedback on customer trends, issues, and successful sales methods to management.
- Develop growth strategies and plans based on market and customer feedback.
Required skills and qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience (typically 2–5 years) as a telecaller or in a similar sales or customer service role.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and a confident, polite phone etiquette.
- Sales aptitude: Strong persuasive and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting sales targets.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in CRM software and basic computer applications like MS Excel.
- Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and objections professionally.
- Problem-solving: Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Leadership (optional but preferred): Experience in team handling, training, and coordination.
Educational background
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A degree or professional certification in sales, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
