Job Description
- Quantity Surveying (QS)Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs from drawings and specifications.
- Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Prepare estimates and rate analysis.
- Prepare and verify contractor/subcontractor bills.
- Check measurements and work quantities at site.
- Monitor project costs against the approved budget.
- Prepare variation statements and extra-item claims.
- Assist with subcontractor and client measurement/certification.
- Maintain records of quantities, costs, and project financial data.
- PlanningPrepare detailed project schedules and work programs.
- Develop baseline and updated schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress.
- Compare planned progress with actual progress and identify delays.
- Prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with site, procurement, engineering, and subcontractor teams.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Track critical activities and project milestones.
- Assist the Project Manager in project planning and monitoring.
