Job Description
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the retail outlet.
- Ensure smooth opening, closing, and functioning of the outlet.
- Maintain company standards for cleanliness, appearance, and customer service.
- Monitor sales performance and take corrective action where required.
- Develop strategies to increase sales, customer retention, and repeat business.
- Monitor product movement and identify fast-moving and slow-moving items.
- Handle customer complaints, feedback, and escalations professionally.
- Ensure staff maintain proper communication and professional behaviour with customers.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance and shift schedules.
- Monitor employee performance and discipline.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Prevent stock shortages, excess stock, damage, and wastage.
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, display, and issuing of products.
- Report stock discrepancies and damages to management.
- Monitor daily billing and cash collection activities.
