Reporting to: Senior Group Leader

  • Core ResponsibilitiesMerchant Acquisition: Visit local markets and retail stores to pitch and onboard new merchants onto the Paytm ecosystem.

  • Product Deployment: Install and set up Paytm payment solutions, including QR Codes, Soundbox, and EDC (Card Swipe) Machines.

  • Education & Training: Demonstrate the benefits of Paytm products to merchants, ensuring they understand the transaction process and settlement cycles.

  • Relationship Management: Revisit existing merchants to resolve technical issues, replace damaged QR codes, and encourage consistent usage.

  • Target Achievement: Meet daily and monthly installation and activation targets to maximize incentive earnings.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor moves (like BharatPe or PhonePe) and provide feedback to the Team Lead.

  • Requirements & SkillsEducation: Minimum 10th/12th Pass (Graduates preferred).

  • Assets: Must own a two-wheeler (bike/scooter) and an Android smartphone.

  • Experience: 0–2 years in field sales (experience in Fintech, FMCG, or Telecom is a plus).

  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, fluency in the local language, and a target-driven mindset.
