About GlassmatesGlassmates Bar & Restaurant is a well-running 400-seater bar & restaurant in Nadergul, supported by a team of 30+ employees. We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Bar Manager who can take complete responsibility for day-to-day operations.

IMPORTANT – EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTWe are looking ONLY for candidates with previous BAR MANAGEMENT experience.

Candidates with experience only in restaurants, cafés, hotels, QSRs, banquets, or other industries without direct bar experience will not be considered.

• Mandatory RequirementsGraduate – Mandatory
• Strong hotel/hospitality background
• Proven experience specifically in Bar / Pub / Lounge operations
• Previous experience managing a busy, high-volume bar is strongly preferred
• Experience handling large teams
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
• Strong knowledge of bar operations, kitchen coordination, inventory and cost control

Key Responsibilities1. Complete Bar Operations

• Take responsibility for smooth day-to-day operations of the entire bar and restaurant.
• Coordinate between bar, kitchen, service, housekeeping and other teams.
• Ensure excellent service standards during peak hours.

2. Staff Management

• Manage a team of 30+ employees.
• Prepare daily/weekly staff rota and duty rosters.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming and staff discipline.
• Allocate duties and ensure proper manpower during busy hours.
• Assist management with recruitment and training whenever required.

3. Customer Experience

• Personally interact with customers.
• Take feedback and immediately address complaints.
• Ensure customers receive fast, professional and courteous service.
• Encourage repeat customers and maintain good customer relationships.

4. Kitchen Coordination & Costing

• Work closely with the kitchen team.
• Assist management in food costing and kitchen costing.
• Monitor portion sizes and consumption.
• Identify unnecessary expenditure and improve kitchen efficiency.

5. Waste Management & Cost Control

• Closely monitor food and beverage wastage.
• Implement proper waste-control systems.
• Monitor stock usage and identify leakage or unnecessary consumption.
• Help management improve overall profitability.

6. Swiggy & Zomato Management

• Monitor and maintain Swiggy and Zomato operations.
• Ensure menu availability and correct pricing.
• Monitor order acceptance, preparation and dispatch.
• Follow customer ratings, reviews and complaints.
• Work towards improving online sales and ratings.

7. Maintenance & Hygiene

• Ensure proper maintenance of the kitchen, bar, dining and customer areas.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance whenever required.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.

Candidate We Are Looking ForWe need a hands-on Bar Manager, not someone who only supervises from the office.

The candidate should be capable of independently managing a 400-seater, high-volume bar, handling 30+ staff, customers, kitchen coordination, online orders, costs, wastage and daily operational issues.
