Job DescriptionChalo Fika Coffee is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista who has good knowledge of coffee preparation and can independently handle a wide range of hot, iced, brewed, and specialty coffee beverages.

The ideal candidate should understand espresso extraction, milk steaming, coffee ratios, brewing methods, presentation, and maintaining consistency in every cup.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare high-quality coffee beverages according to Chalo Fika recipes and standards.
• Operate and maintain a professional espresso machine and coffee grinder.
• Prepare Single & Double Espresso shots with correct extraction.
• Prepare different brewing styles including:
• Espresso
• French Press
• V60 / Pour-Over Coffee
• Americano
• Cappuccino
• Café Latte
• Café Mocha
• Flat White
• Prepare flavoured coffees such as:
• Vanilla Latte / Cappuccino
• Caramel Latte / Cappuccino
• Hazelnut Latte / Cappuccino
• Cinnamon Café Latte
• Prepare iced beverages including:
• Iced Americano
• Iced Latte
• Iced Cappuccino
• Iced Caramel Latte
• Iced Hazelnut Coffee
• Iced Mocha
• Iced Hazelnut Mocha
• Vietnamese Iced Latte
• Prepare specialty drinks such as Orange Espresso and other espresso-based signature beverages.
• Prepare frappes including Classic, Chocolate, Vanilla, Hazelnut and Caramel Frappe.
• Prepare Hot Chocolate and other café beverages.
• Steam and texture milk correctly for cappuccino, latte and other milk-based beverages.
• Basic latte art skills are preferred.
• Maintain proper coffee measurements, recipes and beverage consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness of the espresso machine, grinder, counter and complete work area.
• Manage coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups and other daily café inventory.
• Follow hygiene and food-safety standards.
• Take customer orders and provide friendly customer service.
• Handle billing/orders accurately when required.
• Support opening and closing activities of the café.
• Candidate RequirementsPrevious experience as a Barista is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of espresso-based beverages.
• Knowledge of French Press and V60 brewing methods.
• Ability to independently operate an espresso machine and grinder.
• Good understanding of espresso extraction, grinding, milk steaming and coffee preparation.
• Ability to prepare drinks quickly while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Latte art experience will be an advantage.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Should be punctual, responsible, hygienic and willing to work as part of a team.
• Passion for coffee and willingness to learn new beverages and recipes.

Salary₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on experience, coffee knowledge and barista skills.
