Job Overview

We are hiring an Assistant Manager – Training for a leading premium retail business in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in retail training, learning and development, sales capability building, and customer experience enhancement.

The candidate will be responsible for executing training programs across premium retail stores, improving employees' product knowledge and selling skills, and ensuring consistent service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Execute training calendars across premium retail stores.

Conduct onboarding and induction programs for new employees.

Deliver training on product knowledge, selling techniques, grooming, customer experience, and brand storytelling.

Identify training needs in collaboration with Store Managers, Area Managers, HR, and Retail Operations teams.

Develop and update training materials in line with brand guidelines.

Support the implementation of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.

Monitor training completion, assessment scores, and employee feedback.

Identify performance gaps and recommend suitable training interventions.

Ensure consistent customer service and retail excellence standards across stores.

Candidate Requirements

4–7 years of experience in Learning & Development, retail training, sales training, or retail capability building.

Must be currently based in Gurugram.

Hands-on experience in training teams within premium retail stores in Gurugram is essential.

Experience progressing through retail training roles, such as Trainer and Senior Trainer, is preferred.

Strong understanding of product training, customer experience, sales techniques, and retail operations.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to engage and train frontline retail employees effectively.

Immediate availability to join is preferred.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in premium or luxury apparel, fashion retail, hospitality, or reputed retail brands will be preferred.

Experience working with training dashboards, LMS reports, and learning analytics will be an added advantage.

Compensation

Up to ₹12 LPA, depending on experience and suitability.

Gurugram, Haryana.
