Cook / Chef

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Bakery & Continental Cook who can handle both baking and café-style continental food preparation. The candidate should be comfortable working independently, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation, and managing daily prep efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare different types of breads, cookies, buns and basic bakery products
• Handle dough preparation, proofing, baking and finishing
• Prepare continental café dishes such as sandwiches, pasta, pizzas, wraps, garlic bread and similar items
• Follow standard recipes, portion sizes and presentation guidelines
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality and hygiene
• Manage daily mise-en-place and ingredient preparation
• Monitor stock of bakery and kitchen ingredients
• Minimise food wastage
• Keep the kitchen, baking area and equipment clean and organised
• Coordinate with the counter/order team for timely preparation of orders

Requirements: Prior experience in bakery or continental cooking is preferred. Candidate should have basic knowledge of baking techniques, oven handling and continental cooking, with good hygiene standards and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
