Job Description

Chanakya Investment is looking for a creative and knowledgeable Freelance Script Writer & Content Writer with relevant experience in the stock market, trading, investment advisory or financial-services industry.

The candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, informative and easy-to-understand content for social media, short videos and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and educational videos.
• Create content related to the Indian stock market, trading, investing, equity, F&O and technical analysis.
• Write social-media captions, carousel content, promotional copy and educational posts.
• Convert complex financial topics into simple and engaging English or Hinglish.
• Research market-related topics using reliable and official sources.
• Create strong hooks and calls to action for better audience engagement.
• Coordinate with the video editor and social-media team.
• Make revisions based on feedback and deliver content within deadlines.
• Ensure content is original, factually accurate and suitable for a SEBI-regulated environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in script writing or content writing.
• Previous content-writing experience in the stock market, trading, investment advisory, broking or financial industry is mandatory.
• Good understanding of the Indian stock market and commonly used trading terminology.
• Strong command of English and Hinglish.
• Ability to write concise, engaging and audience-friendly scripts.
• Basic understanding of SEBI-compliant financial communication is preferred.
• Candidate must provide relevant stock-market content samples or a portfolio.
• Generic applications without relevant stock-market experience will not be considered.
