Logistics Executive

Job SummaryWe are looking for a responsible and organized Logistics Executive to manage and coordinate day-to-day logistics operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing riders, coordinating pickups and deliveries, monitoring turnaround time (TAT), tracking shipments/samples, resolving operational issues, and ensuring smooth execution of all logistics activities.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end daily logistics operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Plan and allocate daily pickup and delivery tasks to riders.
• Coordinate with riders, supervisors, collection centers, laboratories, and clients.
• Monitor rider attendance, availability, productivity, and daily performance.
• Track all pickups and deliveries and ensure timely completion as per defined TAT.
• Monitor pending, delayed, missed, and failed pickups/deliveries and take immediate corrective action.
• Ensure proper handover and movement of samples/materials from pickup locations to designated centers/laboratories.
• Maintain accurate records of pickups, deliveries, pending cases, cancellations, and exceptions.
• Coordinate with the operations team to resolve rider and customer-related issues.
• Monitor GPS/location tracking and rider movement wherever applicable.
• Ensure proper handling, transportation, and timely delivery of samples as per operational guidelines.
• Escalate critical operational issues to the reporting manager/client on time.
• Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly logistics MIS reports.
• Monitor key operational metrics such as TAT, productivity, pending pickups, delivery performance, and rider utilization.
• Coordinate for replacement riders or backup resources during absenteeism or operational requirements.
• Verify and maintain operational documentation and records.
• Identify operational gaps and suggest process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety guidelines, and client requirements.
• Handle any other logistics and operations-related responsibilities assigned by management.
