Sales Executive ( Luxury Optical Retail)

Role Summary

The Sales Executive will work in a specialized optical retail environment, responsible for assisting customers in selecting frames, lenses, and eyewear solutions while ensuring high sales conversion and excellent customer service.

KRA: Task / Activities

• Attend walk-in customers and understand vision/eyewear requirements
• Recommend suitable frames, lenses, and optical products
• Explain lens types (single vision, progressive, coatings, etc.)
• Handle product trials and assist in frame selection
• Drive sales and achieve store targets
• Maintain stock of frames, lenses, and accessories
• Coordinate with optometrists (if applicable)
• Generate daily sales and inventory reports
• Ensure proper display of optical products
• Build long-term customer relationships and repeat business

KPI: Performance Metrics

• Sales target achievement (monthly/weekly)
• Customer conversion ratio
• Average billing value (ABV)
• Customer satisfaction & repeat clients
• Product knowledge and upselling success

Required Skills

• Strong sales skills in optical/eyewear retail (mandatory)
• Knowledge of frames, lenses, and optical products
• Good communication skills (English & Tamil)
• Customer handling and consultation skills
• Basic MS Office knowledge

Preferred skills

• Experience in premium/luxury optical brands
• Understanding of lens technology & vision solutions
