Job SummaryWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for rooftop solar EPC projects, ensuring timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining cost efficiency and project schedules.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcure solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables, electrical components, and other project materials.

Source and evaluate vendors, obtain quotations, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely material delivery to project sites.

Coordinate with the Planning, Project, Sales, Finance, and Warehouse teams to understand material requirements.

Maintain vendor databases, purchase records, stock updates, and procurement documentation.

Compare quotations and ensure purchases meet approved technical specifications and quality standards.

Track pending orders, follow up with suppliers, and resolve delivery or material quality issues.

Monitor procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Verify invoices against purchase orders and coordinate with the Finance team for payment processing.

Support inventory planning and prevent material shortages or excess stock.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in purchase, procurement, or vendor management.

Experience in solar EPC, electrical, renewable energy, or construction procurement is preferred.

Required SkillsVendor sourcing, negotiation, and cost comparison.

Knowledge of solar and electrical materials.

Purchase order preparation and documentation.

Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP / inventory systems.

Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.

Attention to detail and time management.

Preferred Industry KnowledgeUnderstanding of solar PV modules, inverters, DC/AC cables, MC4 connectors, earthing materials, ACDB/DCDB, mounting structures, and other rooftop solar installation components.
