Job Description

 field service engineer travels to client locations to install, test, maintain, and repair specialized technical equipment or systems. [1]



Key Responsibilities

  • Installation: Set up and configure new hardware, machinery, or software at client sites.
  • Maintenance: Run routine checks to stop equipment from breaking down.
  • Repair: Find the root cause of faults and fix electronic or mechanical problems.
  • Client Training: Teach customers how to safely and correctly operate the equipment.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate logs of all service visits, repairs, and parts used. [1, 2, 3, 4]
