Electrician (B License)

Electrician Job DescriptionAn Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role involves ensuring that electrical installations operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable electrical codes and safety regulations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Inspect electrical systems and identify faults or potential hazards.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
• Install switches, circuit breakers, outlets, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
• Test electrical installations using appropriate testing equipment.
• Follow electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Ensure all work areas and equipment are maintained safely and cleanly.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other team members when required.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Required Skills and QualificationsProven experience as an Electrician or similar role.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to use electrical tools and testing equipment safely.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when required.
• Relevant technical qualification, certification, or electrical license as required by local regulations.
