Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and organized Store & Inventory Assistant to manage stock, material handling, daily inventory checks, and store maintenance. The role includes BOM/SO updates, RDC and incoming material follow-ups, material automation checks, and coordination with different departments. The candidate should have good communication, attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in receiving, inspecting, verifying, and storing incoming materials and inventory.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies accurately.
Perform daily material automation checks and ensure timely reporting of issues or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper stock maintenance.
Handle materials efficiently and update BOM (Bill of Materials) and SO (Sales Order) details as required.
Organize and maintain storage areas to ensure easy access, identification, and retrieval of materials.
Follow up daily with RDC (Regional Distribution Centre) regarding material availability, dispatches, and pending requirements.
Coordinate and follow up on incoming materials to ensure timely receipt and availability.
Assist customers in locating products and provide accurate product-related information as needed.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the store and storage areas.
Coordinate effectively with different departments regarding material requirements, stock status, and related activities.
Maintain proper documentation and records related to inventory and material movements.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, stores, or inventory environment is an advantage.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.
Knowledge of BOM, SO updates, stock maintenance, and material handling is preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items as required.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
