Transplant Nurse – Kidney, Liver, Heart & Lung

Position: Transplant Nurse

Department: Transplant / Critical Care

Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing

Experience: 1–5 years of hospital experience; transplant/ICU experience preferred

Location: Electronic city and Mahadevpura

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to kidney, liver, heart, and lung transplant patients.
• Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, oxygen saturation, and overall patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and other prescribed treatments.
• Assist transplant surgeons and doctors during procedures and patient management.
• Closely monitor patients for infection, bleeding, organ rejection, and other complications.
• Maintain accurate nursing records, medication charts, and transplant-related documentation.
• Provide patient and family education regarding medications, hygiene, diet, and post-transplant care.
• Coordinate with surgeons, physicians, ICU teams, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital protocols.
• Handle emergency situations and provide appropriate nursing interventions.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of transplant and critical-care nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient-monitoring skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work rotational shifts.
• Valid nursing registration is mandatory From (Karnataka state)
