Site Engineer

Candidscape is a Bengaluru design-and-build firm delivering residential, commercial, healthcare and government projects, with 73+ completed projects.

We are hiring a Site Engineer for interior fit-out sites in Bengaluru. This is an execution role, not a design role. You run the day-to-day on site: modular, carpentry, false ceiling, electrical, painting and finishing. You make sure work is built to drawing, to quality and on time. You report to the Project Delivery Manager.

Pay: ₹28,000 to ₹30,000 per month plus allowances. Work travel is reimbursed.

What you will do

- Supervise daily interior fit-out work: modular installation, carpentry, false ceiling, electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting and finishing

- Sequence trades to avoid clashes and rework, and keep the site moving to programme

- Check work against approved drawings and catch deviations before they are covered or painted over

- Coordinate carpenters, installers, vendors and labour, and manage material at site against the BOQ

- Keep a stage-wise quality checklist (first fix, second fix, finishing) and a snag list until closure

- Send daily site reports with photos to the Project Delivery Manager and flag delays and shortages early

Who we are looking for

- At least 1 year on interior fit-out sites with real supervision responsibility

- B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering, or equivalent site-proven experience

- Can read and work from interior working drawings and knows the finishing trade sequence well

- Hands-on knowledge of modular, carpentry, false ceiling, electrical and finishing works

- Owns a two-wheeler and is willing to travel between sites daily

- Kannada is essential for site and labour coordination; working English for reporting

- Modular kitchen and wardrobe installation experience is preferred

- Comfortable with photo-based daily reporting on WhatsApp or an app, and basic Excel
