Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Sales & Marketing Executive to promote and sell solar products and supplies. The candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, managing existing clients, generating leads, preparing quotations, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new leads through field visits, tele-calling, references, digital platforms, and other marketing activities.
• Promote and sell solar products, equipment, and related supplies to customers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solar products and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow up with customers to convert enquiries into orders.
• Coordinate with the purchase, stores, accounts, and technical teams for smooth order processing and delivery.
• Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain records of enquiries, leads, follow-ups, quotations, and sales.
• Follow up on pending payments in coordination with the accounts team.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Participate in exhibitions, dealer meetings, promotional activities, and other marketing initiatives.
• Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in solar, electrical, electronics, or related industries.
• Knowledge or interest in solar products and renewable energy solutions.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to generate leads and convert enquiries into sales.
• Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings and field sales.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good customer relationship and follow-up skills.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Energetic and target-oriented.
• Confident in dealing with customers and dealers.
• Good knowledge of the Bengaluru market will be an advantage.
• Candidates with experience selling solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, cables, or other solar accessories will be preferred.
