Junior Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor / Purchase Executive with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the construction field.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and check BOQ and quantity calculations.
• Take quantities from drawings and project requirements.
• Prepare material requirement lists.
• Handle purchase of construction materials.
• Collect and compare supplier quotations and prices.
• Coordinate with suppliers for rates, availability, and delivery.
• Follow up on material orders and deliveries.
• Coordinate with the site team regarding material requirements.
• Maintain records of BOQ, quotations, purchases, and costs.
• Assist with estimation, costing, and rate comparison.
• Handle day-to-day QS and purchase-related activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, and calculations.
• Basic understanding of construction materials and drawings.
• Experience in purchase/procurement is preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
