Greenspace Herbs is a research-driven manufacturer of nutraceuticals, herbal wellness, and personal care products, combining traditional botanical knowledge with modern science. With a growing Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business and presence across leading e-commerce marketplaces, we are looking for a Finance Executive to ensure seamless financial operations, reconciliations, and compliance across digital sales channels.

Job Summary:

The Finance Executive – D2C & E-commerce will be responsible for managing end-to-end financial operations related to online sales channels, including payment gateway reconciliations, marketplace settlements, purchase order processing, COD collections, refunds, vendor payments, and financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. D2C & E-commerce Finance

● Perform daily reconciliation of online payments received through UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, Wallets, EMI, and other digital payment modes.

● Reconcile settlements from payment gateways such as Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, PhonePe, and similar platforms.

● Monitor settlement cycles and coordinate with payment gateway partners to resolve failed transactions, settlement discrepancies, chargebacks, and payment issues.

● Reconcile sales across the Greenspace website and marketplace platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) with ERP records.

● Validate discounts, promotional offers, coupons, loyalty rewards, refunds, cancellations, and return adjustments.

Purchase & Vendor Management

● Process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure proper approvals.

● Verify vendor invoices with purchase orders and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).

● Coordinate with procurement and accounts payable teams for timely vendor payments.

COD & Logistics Reconciliation

● Reconcile Cash-on-Delivery (COD) collections received from logistics partners.

● Track pending remittances and follow up with courier partners for timely settlements.

● Identify discrepancies in COD collections and initiate corrective actions.

Financial Reporting & MIS

● Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering:

○ Sales performance

○ Collections

○ Payment gateway settlements

○ Refunds & chargebacks

○ COD collections

○ Outstanding receivables

● Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

● Support GST documentation, reconciliations, audits, and statutory compliance.

Cross-functional Coordination

● Work closely with Sales, E-commerce, Operations, Customer Support, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance teams to resolve reconciliation issues.

● Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, SOPs, and company policies.

● Recommend process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification

● B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent.

Experience

● 2–5 years of experience in Finance, preferably in D2C, E-commerce, Retail, FMCG, Nutraceuticals, Personal Care, or Consumer Goods industries.

Required Skills

● Hands-on experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and payment gateways.

● Working knowledge of ERP/accounting software such as Tally, SAP Business One, Zoho Books, or similar systems.

● Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, dashboards, and MIS reporting.

● Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills.

● Good understanding of GST, accounting principles, and financial documentation.

● Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle high transaction volumes.

● Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
