Zonal Data Captain (DC) Field Sales & Operations Fixed Salary ₹25,000 / month Core Target 8 business conversions / day Performance Incentives Up to ₹95,000 / week* We are building one of India’s largest commercial video data collection networks. As a Zonal Data Captain, you own the business pipeline for your zone — you find businesses, convert them for on-site video data collection, and keep the recording engine in your territory fed every single day. You will spend your days in the field meeting business owners, converting them, and expanding into new towns mapped to your zone. What You’ll Do 1. Business Pipeline Building — Your Core Job n Convert a minimum of 8 new businesses every day for commercial video data collection n Prioritize multi-worker and 2-shift environments: factories, manufacturing units, workshops, service centers, commercial kitchens, warehouses, printing & packaging units, facility management operations n Complete the business conversion form accurately and fully for every conversion, same day n Every conversion is verified — a converted business means a real, reachable business that is scheduled and ready for recording PERFORMANCE STANDARD: Any week with fewer than 50 converted businesses (~8/day) is a failure to execute the core requirement of this role and will result in termination. 2. Territory Scouting & Expansion n Map and expand into nearby towns and industrial clusters assigned to your zone n Identify new commercial categories and corridors with high recording potential n Build corridor-level knowledge: which streets, estates, and clusters hold the densest concentration of qualifying businesses 3. Recording-Day Support n Provide timely updates to your internal coordinator on pipeline status, scheduled recordings, and on-ground issues n Support field operations on recording days at businesses you converted — resolve owner concerns, access issues, and scheduling conflicts on the spot n Maintain the relationship: a business you convert should stay warm through its recording cycle Compensation Fixed salary Performance incentives ₹25,000 / month Up to ₹95,000 / week* *Incentives are performance-based and linked to verified conversions, recorded hours generated from your converted businesses, and quality/consistency of execution. Page 1 Zonal Data Captain — Field Sales & Operations | Confidential: for recruitment partner use Requirements n Localite — native fluency in the local language of the zone, plus working English or Hindi (mandatory) n Minimum 1 year of experience as a Field Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, or equivalent field-facing role n Existing network of business owners in the region — you should be able to name and reach real business owners in your territory. This will be verified in the interview. The probation is a live test of every critical skill the role demands. Confirmation requires meeting all of the following gates: Gate 1 — Pipeline (the primary test) Minimum 35 verified business conversions across 4 days. This is deliberately above the steady-state daily rate — the probation tests whether you can produce at target intensity from day one. Suggested pacing: 7–8 on Day 1 while learning process, 9–10/day on Days 2–4. All 35 must pass verification: real business, correct category, complete form, owner aware and scheduled. Unverifiable or duplicate conversions do not count and are grounds for immediate failure regardless of total. Gate 2 — Process Excellence n Conversion form discipline: every form complete, accurate, and submitted same-day. Error rate above 10% across the 4 days is a fail. n Communication cadence: morning plan message + evening summary to the internal coordinator, every day, on time. More than one missed update is a fail. n Category compliance: zero conversions in banned/capped categories after the Day 1 briefing. Gate 3 — Recording-Day Operations n On at least one probation day, the candidate supports a live recording at a converted site n Assessed on: owner handling, access/scheduling problem resolution, coordination with the field ops team n Zone Lead scores pass/fail with written justification
