Job Description: 2D Draughtsman, BOQ and Vendor Coordination ExecutiveAbout the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and detail oriented 2D Draughtsman who can prepare accurate technical drawings, develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs), coordinate with vendors, and support the execution team throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate should have strong drafting capabilities, a thorough understanding of interior materials and construction processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, material knowledge, quantity estimation, and project coordination skills.

• Key Responsibilities1. Technical Drawings and DraftingPrepare detailed 2D drawings for residential and commercial interior projects.
• Create architectural, furniture, electrical, ceiling, flooring, wall treatment, and joinery drawings.
• Develop complete technical drawing packages for project execution.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings for custom furniture and bespoke elements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and design standards.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from designers, site engineers, clients, and vendors.
• Maintain drawing documentation and version control.
• 2. Bill of Quantities (BOQ) PreparationPrepare detailed BOQs for all project components.
• Calculate material quantities based on approved drawings.
• Develop quantity estimates for civil, carpentry, electrical, hardware, lighting, finishing, and furnishing requirements.
• Prepare material specifications and quantity sheets.
• Verify measurements and ensure the accuracy of all calculations.
• Update BOQs whenever design modifications are made.
• Maintain cost estimation records for all projects.
• 3. Vendor CoordinationCoordinate with material suppliers, manufacturers, fabricators, and contractors.
• Obtain quotations from multiple vendors.
• Compare material specifications, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure vendors clearly understand technical drawings and project requirements.
• Follow up on material availability and procurement timelines.
• Resolve technical queries raised by vendors during fabrication and execution.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure materials are delivered according to project schedules.
• 4. Project Execution SupportWork closely with designers, site teams, and project managers.
• Conduct quantity verification before material procurement.
• Support site teams by clarifying drawings and technical details.
• Assist in identifying material alternatives when required.
• Monitor changes in project scope and update documentation accordingly.
• Participate in project review meetings.
• Required SkillsTechnical SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of interior and architectural drawings.
• Experience in preparing furniture and joinery drawings.
• Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
• Understanding of construction materials and finishing specifications.
• Ability to interpret design drawings and convert them into execution drawings.

• Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in technical drafting, BOQ preparation, and vendor coordination.
• Experience in the interior design or construction industry will be preferred.
