Job Description
hanical Draughtsman – Job DescriptionRole: Mechanical Draughtsman
Experience: 2–5 years
Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare GA, fabrication, assembly, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Develop drawings for reactors, filters, pressure vessels, tanks, and other mechanical equipment.
- Prepare BOM, dimensions, tolerances, welding details, and material specifications.
- Modify drawings based on engineering, production, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with design, fabrication, production, and quality teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant engineering standards and specifications.
- Maintain proper drawing revisions and documentation.
- Required SkillsGood knowledge of AutoCAD; SolidWorks/Inventor/Creo is an advantage.
- Understanding of mechanical fabrication, welding symbols, GD&T, fits, and tolerances.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail and practical fabrication knowledge.
- Experience in process equipment or pressure vessel manufacturing is preferred.
