Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily income and expense records of the resort.
• Record and verify cash, UPI, card, and online payments.
• Prepare daily sales and collection reports.
• Handle guest billing and payment reconciliation.
• Monitor and record restaurant, room, spa, and other resort revenue.
• Maintain petty cash and daily cash reports.
• Verify purchase bills and expense documents.
• Track vendor payments and outstanding amounts.
• Reconcile bank statements and payment gateway transactions.
• Maintain proper records of expenses and supporting documents.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management.
• Coordinate with the front office, restaurant, purchase, and management teams.
• Check discrepancies in billing, collections, and expenses and report them to management.
• Assist with monthly financial closing and reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Required SkillsBasic to good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience handling cash and daily collections.
• Good understanding of bank and payment reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced resort/hospitality environment.
• QualificationB.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Previous experience in a resort, hotel, restaurant, or hospitality industry will be an advantage.
