Fanuc CNC Wire Cut Operator

A CNC Wire Cut (EDM) Operator sets up, programs, and operates electrical discharge machines to cut precise, intricate shapes in conductive materials based on blueprints. They manage wire tension, adjust parameters, monitor cuts, and inspect parts for quality.

Core Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Load raw materials, set up fixtures, and calibrate wire EDM machines according to specifications.
• Programming & Operation: Input instructions, edit CNC programs, and manage wire cutting parameters (speed, tension, power).
• Production Monitoring: Oversee the cutting process to ensure accuracy and troubleshoot issues.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines to ensure optimal performance
