Candidates must possess strong practical experience in accounting, financial reporting, and financial consolidations. 

About the Role 

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional with hands-on experience in U.S. GAAP reporting, financial consolidations, and multi-entity accounting. 

The role involves working closely with a U.S.-based parent company and coordinating with finance teams of subsidiaries located across the United States, Uruguay, Mexico, and other international jurisdictions. 

The candidate will be responsible for obtaining financial balances and supporting schedules from subsidiaries, reviewing financial data, and preparing consolidated financial statements for group reporting purposes. 

This is a client-facing role requiring strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, advanced Excel expertise, and the ability to interact professionally with U.S.-based management teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for multi-entity international groups 
• Coordinate with finance teams of subsidiaries located in the United States, Uruguay, Mexico, and other countries 
• Obtain monthly financial balances, schedules, and supporting documentation from international subsidiaries 
• Consolidate subsidiary financial statements into the U.S. parent company reporting structure 
• Perform intercompany eliminations and reconcile consolidation differences 
• Handle foreign currency translations and variance analysis 
• Support U.S. GAAP financial reporting requirements 
• Manage monthly and quarterly close processes 
• Participate in Zoom meetings with U.S. clients and management teams 
• Communicate accounting queries, reporting requirements, and follow-ups with international subsidiaries 
• Build and maintain advanced Excel-based reports, reconciliations, and financial models 

Must-Have Skills 

• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in financial consolidation 
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP 
• Experience handling multiple subsidiaries/entities preferred 
• Advanced Excel expertise: Pivot Tables 
• Power Query 
• Advanced formulas 
• Macros/VBA preferred

• Excellent spoken and written English 
• Strong professional communication and follow-up skills 
• Comfortable interacting with U.S. clients over Zoom 
• Must be available between 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM IST for client calls when required
